Nina sat on the bed, getting ready. She was brushing her hair when she looked up and jumped. She hadn’t noticed her uncle in the doorway and wondered how long he had been standing there. It was a little creepy. He wasn’t saying anything, and it felt like he was looking into her soul.
“Uncle Charlie, are you okay? How long have you been standing there?” she asked, getting up and standing a little awkwardly as her uncle smiled and spoke.
“Dinner’s ready. Your aunt had to go to work, so it’s just me and you.”
He left the room and went downstairs. Nina felt a shiver run down her spine as she followed.
As she entered the dining room, she was confused. There was no food on the table.
“Uncle Charlie?”
She turned around and saw him standing there, a strange look in his eye. He stepped towards her, grabbed her hands, and muttered some strange incantation.
Their souls slowly left their bodies and entered each other. They both collapsed to the floor.
Nina’s eyes slowly opened. She couldn’t see clearly at first, but she could make out someone standing over her. It looked like the person was touching their body, but then she realised it was her body, standing there, running its hands over itself.
She looked down and saw her uncle’s beer gut and grabbed it with his stubby fingers. She freaked.
“Do you know how long I have waited to touch this body, to feel your soft skin?” said Uncle Charlie.
Nina looked into her own eyes and could see the evil looking down at her.
“You’re insane! Switch us back! You’re sick!” said Nina, getting to her feet. But then the door opened, and in came her aunt, who looked at her niece and husband and smiled.
“Have you made the switch?”
Nina’s body nodded, and she laughed.
“What! No! No! You knew! Help!”
Nina shouted and screamed as mad laughter filled the room.
