Lucy watched as her body approached she was surprised to see her body walking so upright so confidently towards her. With each step she grew more nervous, but then she heard a voice speak a voice she knew well.
“Hey Lucy, how are you?” said a very happy Mike as he hugged his former body.
It had been nearly two years since they last met. They had decided to wait this long in order to move on with their new lives.
“I’m sorry… I mean, you look well. That’s a lovely outfit, and you’ve grown my hair out,” said Lucy as she watched Mike strike a pose.
It was difficult for Lucy to see Mike so happy, so comfortable in her body. She had hoped he was still struggling like she was. Mike was still talking when Lucy suddenly started to cry. Even after all this time, it was very difficult for her to accept that she was never going to be herself again. She had tried to accept her new life, but she hated being a man.
Mike tried to console Lucy, but it was no good. She had to leave. Every time she looked at herself, the tears came flooding back. She ran off, leaving Mike sitting there, upset that she had not been able to find enjoyment in her new body and life the way he had.
